Super Simple Dairy Free Flatbreads – No Yeast

This is the easiest flatbread recipe ever.

It’s quick, simple and one you can really get creative with. This time I added fresh coriander but it’s even better if you go for a double coriander (fresh and ground). I also love adding fresh chillies.

I use this recipe when I’m making very last minute flatbreads.

Flatbreads make such a tasty addition to so many meals. They’re made all over the world with slight variations in recipes. I really like to have them alongside a curry or they work well with falafels.

Let’s keep the introduction short because what you’re here for is the recipe.

So, let’s get on with it.

Flat bread recipe

Method

Start by adding 2 cups of flour, a pinch of salt and the coriander into a mixing bowl. I think a mix of ground and fresh is nice but on this occasion I only had fresh.

Make a well in the middle of the mix and slowly add the water and oil while mixing.

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes.

Set the dough to one side to rest for 10 minutes.

Split the dough into 10 small balls and roll them out ’til they’re super thin.

Then heat your frying pan, give it a spray with oil and heat each flat bread for a minute or two on each side.

Let me know how you get on with the recipe.
