I’ve always said that one thing you really don’t miss out on when switching to a dairy free lifestyle is ice cream. There are so many brands that offer a delicious alternative to dairy ice cream and one of those is Ben & Jerry’s.
Ben & Jerry’s Non Dairy ice cream is delicious and we have a pretty good line-up of flavours here in the UK. The Non Dairy options are certified vegan but as we always say, please do check the full ingredients list including may contain warnings in accordance to your allergy.
The fun flavours available include true classic like Cookies on Cookie Dough, Phish Food and Chocolate Fudge Brownie. There are the new and exciting options like Netflix & Chill’d, Berry Revolutionary, Chocolatey Love A-fair and Salted Caramel Brownie.
I honestly think that the current Non Dairy ice cream flavours from Ben & Jerry’s really hold up to the real deal. They’re creamy full of flavour and of course, filled with all the tasty chunky bits that the brand is known for.
However!
I don’t like to complain but the options over in America are even better and there are even more flavours than here. So, I thought I’d share with you 4 flavours that Ben & Jerry’s sell over in America that I think need to make their way across the pond.
4 Non Dairy Ben & Jerry’s Flavours That Should Be Sold In The UK
Cherry Garcia – They used to sell the dairy version of this over here so I guess it’s unlikely they’ll bring this flavour over but I SO wish they would.
Coconut Seven Layer Bar – Okay, this sound bomb. Coconut ice cream with fudge chunks, walnuts and swirls of graham cracker and caramel. What’s not to love?
Mint Chocolate Cookie – There are not enough dairy free mint ice cream options on the market. The one from Wicked Kitchen at Tesco is pretty good but there’s always room for more.
Peanut Butter Half Baked – I love peanut butter in ice cream and this one ticks so many boxes – chocolate and peanut butter ice cream with fudge brownies and peanut butter cookie dough.
So, let’s get our manifestation on and get even more fun and delicious non-dairy ice cream pints on the market here in the UK.
