Over the last year or so I’ve tried a few different drinks from the Rebel Kitchen range and really enjoyed them. I’m a big fan of the brand so when I spotted their dairy free yogurts in Whole Foods I knew I had to give them a try.
There are 4 in the range including; Coffee, Original, Vanilla and Cacao. I went for the coffee one and was pretty excited to give it a try.
Sadly, I was a little disappointed with it. There was a very very subtle coffee taste but I had to really focus to detect it. I was hoping for more of a coffee explosion with this but the coconut flavour really took the lead. I almost forgot that it was meant to have a coffee flavour.
It’s a smooth yogurt and I really enjoyed the texture. It’s much different to my favourite Coyo brand which has a very thick consistency. I think that’s the point though, this is a much lighter alternative. However, there was no wow factor. Nothing to keep me hooked on buying this flavour again.
I didn’t dislike the yogurt but I didn’t love it. I’ll be trying out the other flavours and will be sure to report back.
Leave a comment below and let me know if you’ve tried any of the other flavours.
