Hello dairy free friends. It’s been a while since I last checked in with you but I’m back and I’m here to stay. I’ve still been updating Instagram regularly and you can find daily posts over on my lifestyle blog, Prettygreentea. If you’re looking for weekly dairy free tips, finds and recipes then please do stick around. I’ll be sharing 2 posts a week and I even have a few videos coming up. Anyway, I’ll do a full catch-up post later in the week and update you on my dairy free life, my eczema and much more.
Today I wanted to tell you about a really handy lunch idea I’ve discovered in the last month or so. The product in question is from the folks at Iam Super Food, have you heard of them? They make a range of quick, easy and healthy meals and their newest additions are a range of soups – Souper. Most of them have dairy in but not the Pulled Pork & Jalapeños soup. I was originally sent a couple of boxes to samples and despite loving the packaging I can’t say I was very excited to give them a try – soup isn’t the most exciting thing, is it?
Actually, this one really is.
It’s not like one of those thin, watery soups at all. It’s more like a bean and pulled pork chilli. It really is very tasty and Phil loves it too. It’s packed full of meat, veg and beans and I really look forward to having this for lunch now. I was pleased to find out that there are no artificial additives in the soup, they’re simply packed with natural ingredients and are aimed at keeping you fuller for longer. As you can see, Phil had his alongside rice and lots of avocado. It looks really good like that but I think that would be too much for lunch. I had mine on its own and it was really tasty and filling, I didn’t even need any afternoon snacks.
We’ve already stocked up on a few more packs to keep in the cupboard and take into work or for a lazy lunch at home. I think these are going to be really useful to have around during the colder months when you need something warm and filling to keep you going.
I also love their website, the branding is fab and you can find out more about their other products there. You can buy Souper soups in Sainsbury’s, Amazon, ASDA and Whole Foods.
Let me know if you give Souper a try.
